Japanese-Style Chicken Teriyaki
A classic Japanese dish made with marinated chicken, teriyaki sauce, and sesame seeds. This recipe is easy to make and perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients
- 1 1/10 lb chicken
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 cm grated ginger
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 green onions
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, and grated ginger. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the cooked chicken to the saucepan with the teriyaki sauce and toss to coat.
- Serve the chicken hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
