Method
Heat 1 tbsp oil and 1 tsp butter in a pan over medium heat.
Kitchen notes · Added by ReelsMeals: Oil and butter shimmer. Use medium heat to avoid burning the butter.
Add 0.5 cup finely chopped onion, 1 chopped green chilli, 5 chopped garlic cloves, and 1 tbsp ginger‑garlic paste; sauté until the mixture becomes mushy.
Kitchen notes · Added by ReelsMeals: Onions turn translucent and mixture looks soft. Stir frequently to prevent sticking.
Stir in a handful of fresh coriander leaves and 100 ml tomato puree; cook for 1–2 minutes.
Kitchen notes · Added by ReelsMeals: Coriander wilts and puree bubbles. Cook just until the raw smell of tomato fades.
Add 0.5 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp coriander‑cumin powder, 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder, 1 tbsp Maggi masala, and 1 tsp salt; mix well and cook for another minute.
Kitchen notes · Added by ReelsMeals: Spices become fragrant and oil separates slightly. Stir continuously to toast spices evenly.
Add the 2 grated boiled eggs and 150 ml water, then simmer for 2–3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
Kitchen notes · Added by ReelsMeals: Gravy thickens slightly and eggs are well coated. Simmer gently; do not boil vigorously.
Garnish with a handful of fresh coriander leaves and 0.5 cup finely chopped onion before serving.
