Method
Spiders
Preheat the oven to 400°F (390°F).
Lay a puff pastry sheet on a work surface, trim the edges, and spread half of the sheet with cocoa hazelnut protein cream.
Place a small round of cream in the centre to mark the body and add four strips of pastry around it for legs.
Roll each leg around itself, brush with egg white, and bake until golden, about 12‑15 minutes.
After baking, add tiny dollops of cocoa cream for the eyes.
Mummies
Preheat the oven to 400°F (390°F) if not already hot.
In a bowl combine canned tuna, shredded mozzarella cheese, and tomato‑truffle sauce to form a filling.
Cut the remaining puff pastry into rectangles and place a spoonful of the tuna mixture on each.
Cut thin strips from the leftover pastry to act as mummy bandages and lay them over the rectangles.
Seal the edges with egg white and bake until the pastry is puffed and golden, about 12‑15 minutes.
Add small dots of cocoa cream as eyes before serving.

- Single oven preheat
- Preheat the oven to 200 °C once and use that heat for both spiders and mummies to save time.
- Shared pastry sheet
- Use the same thawed puff pastry sheet for both components, trimming as needed.
- Watch for golden color
- Bake each piece for 12‑15 minutes until the pastry is puffed and golden, then remove promptly.
