Method
Cupcake batter
whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and vanilla extract; add softened butter and mix until the butter forms small pieces, then gradually stir in milk and eggs until a smooth batter forms.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (375°F). Pour the batter into cupcake liners, bake for 15–20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cupcakes to cool completely on a wire rack.
Prepare the marzipan
divide the almond paste into two portions, color one portion green and the other red with the appropriate food coloring, then add powdered sugar and honey to each portion and knead until smooth.
Roll each colored marzipan into thin sheets, cut circles to fit the tops of the cupcakes, and shape small roses from the red marzipan.
Fill each cooled cupcake: pipe or spoon a layer of raspberry jam into the center, add custard, then top with a dollop of whipped cream.
Cover each cupcake with a green marzipan circle, place a red marzipan rose on top, and optionally garnish with a pink edible rose or extra berries.
