Method

  1. 1

Rinse the canned cannellini beans, reserving the liquid, then drain them.

Kitchen notes · Added by ReelsMeals: Reserve the liquid from the can before draining completely.

  2. 2

Place the drained beans, olive oil, packed chopped parsley, sea salt, lemon juice, minced garlic, and about one tablespoon of the reserved bean liquid into a food processor.

Kitchen notes · Added by ReelsMeals: Pack the parsley firmly into the measuring spoon for an accurate amount.

  3. 3

Blend for 10–20 seconds until smooth, checking the consistency; add more bean liquid or olive oil a little at a time if the dip is too thick.

Kitchen notes · Added by ReelsMeals: The dip pulls away from the sides of the bowl and looks glossy.

  4. 4

Taste and adjust salt or lemon juice as needed, then transfer the dip to a serving bowl.

Kitchen notes · Added by ReelsMeals: A squeeze of lemon can brighten the flavour if it tastes flat.

  5. 5

Serve with fresh carrot sticks, brown‑rice crackers, or other vegetables.

Reserve bean liquid
Keep the rinsing liquid before draining the beans.
Adjust texture gradually
