Ingredients

  • 2 medium-sized potatoes
  • 1/2 cup oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oil in a deep frying pan to 350°F (180°C).
  2. While the oil is heating up, prepare the potato slices by drying them with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  3. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the potato slices in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.
  4. Fry the potatoes for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove the fried potatoes from the oil with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  6. Sprinkle the fried potatoes with salt to taste.
  7. Serve the crunchy potato snack hot and enjoy!
  8. For an extra crispy snack, you can try baking the potato slices in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 15-20 minutes, or until crispy.
  9. Keep an eye on the potatoes while they are baking to ensure they do not burn.
