Method

  1. 1

Season raw chicken breast with salt, red pepper flakes, and the yellow seasoning blend; then add the brownish‑green seasoning blend and hand‑mix until evenly coated.

  2. 2

Prepare parchment paper and lay it on a baking sheet.

  3. 3

Place the seasoned raw chicken breasts on the parchment‑lined sheet.

  4. 4

Spray the chicken breasts with oil spray.

  5. 5

Air‑fry the chicken breasts until cooked through.

  6. 6

Roast broccolini on the same baking sheet until tender and lightly charred; season with red pepper flakes.

  7. 7

Sauté sliced onions and green chilies in a pan with a splash of oil until softened.

  8. 8

Add minced garlic to the pan and cook briefly.

  9. 9

Add the yellow powder (spice) to the pan and stir.

  10. 10

Pour the white liquid into the pan and stir to combine.

  11. 11

Add cream to the simmering mixture and stir until the sauce is smooth and orange‑colored.

  12. 12

Add cooked white rice to the pan and stir until the rice is fully coated with the sauce.

  13. 13

Slice the cooked chicken breast into strips.

  14. 14

Arrange sliced chicken, roasted broccolini, and the coconut‑flavored rice on a plate.

  15. 15

Drizzle the orange Bang Bang sauce over the chicken, broccolini, and rice.

  16. 16

Finish by sprinkling a final pinch of red pepper flakes over the plated dish.

Tips while you cook

Line the sheet before seasoning
Place parchment paper on the baking sheet before adding the seasoned chicken.
Slice chicken after cooking
Cut the cooked chicken breasts into strips only after they are fully air‑fried to retain juiciness.
Keep sauce at a gentle simmer
After adding cream, stir the sauce over low heat to maintain a smooth orange texture.
Coat rice while sauce is hot
Stir the cooked rice into the pan immediately after the sauce is smooth.
