Method

  1. 1

Wash and dry the strawberries (paper towel).

  2. 2

Pour the Ghirardelli white vanilla flavored melting wafers (or white chocolate chips) into a black bowl.

  3. 3

Melt the white chocolate in the microwave (as shown on‑screen).

  4. 4

Stir the melted white chocolate until smooth and glossy.

  5. 5

Dip each strawberry into the melted white chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.

  6. 6

Place the coated strawberries on a parchment‑lined tray.

  7. 7

Chill the strawberries in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes until the coating sets (on‑screen text).

  8. 8

Using black edible paint from a tube, draw two dots for eyes and an oval for a mouth on each white‑chocolate‑covered strawberry to create a ghost face.

  9. 9

Optionally sprinkle with colorful sprinkles for extra Halloween flair.

Tips while you cook

Dry strawberries completely
Make sure the strawberries are fully dried after washing before dipping them in the chocolate.
Let excess chocolate drip
Allow excess white chocolate to drip off each strawberry before placing it on the parchment‑lined tray.
Chill until coating sets
Refrigerate the coated strawberries for about 20 minutes until the chocolate coating is firm.
