20 minutes to prep, 10 hours to cook. A hearty, budget‑friendly duo of comfort foods: a classic turkey meatloaf that stretches a pound of ground turkey into a week’s worth of sandwiches, paired with a slow‑cooked stew that turns simple pantry staples into a warming, flavorful broth.

Method
Meatloaf
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, eggs, chopped onion, crushed cornflakes, salt, and pepper; mix until evenly incorporated.
Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan, smooth the top, and bake for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Remove from the oven, let rest for 5 minutes, then slice and use for sandwiches throughout the week.
Stew
In a pot, whisk together water and flour to create a slurry, then add salt, pepper, diced potatoes, carrots, celery, and any leftover meat from the meatloaf.
Bring to a gentle simmer over low heat, then cover and cook for about 10 hours, or transfer to a slow cooker set on low for the same duration, until the vegetables are tender and the flavors have melded.
