Method

  1. 1

    Preheat the oven to 375°F.

  2. 2

Combine the two packs of Knorr broccoli & cheddar rice and the two cans of cream of chicken soup in a large baking dish.

  3. 3

Measure two cans of water using the empty cans and add to the dish, then stir thoroughly to blend the rice and soup mixture.

  4. 4

Steam the frozen broccoli briefly until it can be broken into smaller pieces, keeping it partially frozen.

  5. 5

Season the broccoli with Chicka Licka Bam seasoning, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, and table blend seasoning, then fold it into the rice mixture.

  6. 6

Arrange the chicken tenderloins on top of the rice and broccoli mixture.

  7. 7

Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake for 35–40 minutes.

  8. 8

Remove the foil, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top, and bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted.

  9. 9

Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Tips while you cook

Measure water with empty cans
Use the empty soup cans to measure the two cans of water before adding them to the dish.
Briefly steam frozen broccoli
Steam the frozen broccoli just enough to break it into smaller pieces while keeping it partially frozen.
Cover tightly for the first bake
Seal the dish with foil during the initial 35–40 minute bake to retain moisture.
Rest before serving
Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes after baking to set before serving.
