Method

  1. 1

Melt the butter and spread it in the bottom of a 9x13‑inch baking dish.

  2. 2

Evenly layer the cooked shredded chicken over the butter, then season with pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

  3. 3

Add the frozen mixed vegetables as a second layer on top of the chicken.

  4. 4

In a mixing bowl, combine the Red Lobster biscuit mix, milk, and the seasoning packet that comes with the mix; whisk until smooth.

  5. 5

Stir the half‑cup of cheddar cheese into the biscuit mixture.

  6. 6

Pour the biscuit mixture over the vegetable layer without stirring.

  7. 7

In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup and chicken broth until well combined.

  8. 8

Pour the soup mixture over the biscuit topping without stirring.

  9. 9

Bake at 375°F (375°F) for about 55 minutes, until the top is golden brown and the interior is hot and bubbly.

  10. 10

Allow the dish to cool slightly, then sprinkle chopped parsley on top for garnish.

  11. 11

Serve warm, cutting generous portions with a spatula.

Tips while you cook

Butter base
Melt the butter and spread it evenly in the baking dish before adding any other layers.
Layer without stirring

Soup layer placement
Whisk the soup and broth together, then pour it over the biscuit topping without mixing.
Cool before garnish
Allow the baked dish to cool slightly before sprinkling chopped parsley for garnish.
